Wanderer | Open

It was raining again - and, being a spirit of water, HongKi loved playing in the rain. He didn't have to worry about splashing anyone, or about his clothes getting messed up. As long as he stayed in his 'mist' form, everything went right through him. But, he was lonely with just his pig-rabbit plushie. Friends for him were few and far between, and the boy he had intended to give his plushie to didn't believe in spirits; meaning he was invisible to the boy's eyes. HongKi sighed, halting his playing and looking around, hugging the pig-rabbit tightly to his chest.

Ko-Ki wasn't sure what to do. Since the rain started, he had been trapped in a little corner, the only cover from the falling water. He had gone out to get some fresh air, and a few of his belongings he always hid when he didn't have a place to stay, but didn't take into account the weather. He could have just made a run for it, but even trying to use his speed, he would get wet, and most likely dizzy like last time he tried. So now, the little vampire sat there, pouting at the falling rain and cuddling his things, hoping it will stop before the sun came out.

Bright colors always caught his eyes. Pink, this time, was what drew his attention. Pink hair, and someone who looked the same age he had been five years ago. HongKi went over to the other person, smiling brightly and hoping that they could see him. "...hello!" he said, his smile changing to a grin. "Are you lost? Or do you just not want to get caught in the rain?"

The little vampire wasn't sure if he was going crazy, or just was really tired. He knew he heard a voice though. He looked around for a moment, before the boy standing in front of him appeared, faintly at first, then slowly loosing his transparency. "I-Uhh, I don't want to get wet..." he said, his pink eyes staring a little. The guy was kinda cute, and looked like he could be older than him, but something seemed a little off about him too.

He nodded, grin still in place. "I can go get an umbrella for you, if you want," he offered, blinking. The boy did look a little confused, but that didn't matter to HongKi. Whoever it was could see him; that made him plenty happy enough.

"Can it be a big pink one?" was all he could think to say. He liked the idea that someone would bring him an umbrella, he just hoped that there would be no repercussions that he would have to deal with again. Ko-Ki definitely wasn't interested in that. He just wanted to get back to Minki's home with his things.

"...huh...? Oh, yeah, of course!" he answered, running off as soon as he had finished his reply to the question. HongKi returned not even ten minutes later, carrying a rather large, bright pink umbrella. "Will this work?" he asked, blinking and biting his lip as he held it out to the boy.

Ko-Ki smiled wide, his fangs showing as he took the umbrella from the other boy. "Thanks! I can get home before the sun comes out this way," he was really happy about that. It wasn't certain if the sun would kill him like he's heard. But he knew from the times he was exposed to just a small amount of it, it wasn't something he wanted again. It burned his skin, and made him feel extremely sick. Not something he was interested in in the slightest.

"Oh, so you're a vampire?" he asked, practically giggling. "I'm glad I could help you, then. It would be bad if you got burned by the sun. From what I've seen it's really painful..." HongKi didn't like that thought. He hated seeing people get hurt.

"Don't laugh at me!" Ko-Ki pouted, almost ready to beat this person with something. He probably would have if he didn't value the small amount of possessions he had at the time. "And yes, it does hurt. It would be better if the sun just went away forever. It's ugly and too bright," the little vampire continued. He really did hate the sun, and it's light. He just figured it was part of being a vampire.

He pouted. "I'm not laughing at you, though. I've never met a vampire before..." he said, trying to make his intention at least a little clear. HongKi sighed, frowning a little. "I don't like the sun, either...it makes me look all see-through and stuff..."

The vampire blinked at him for a moment. He'd never seen through someone before, and it sounded interesting. "I suddenly kind of wish I could handle sunlight," he stated as he stared at the boy in front of him.

He blinked, tilting his head and not quite understanding. "...why do you say that?" he asked, pouting a little bit. Did the vampire want to see through him or something like that?
