Filth in the Beauty

Minki smiles, almost sadly. -That's good...everyone should have a caring mother that loves them and looks after them...- The words are smaller than the others that he's written, and he doesn't look at the human as he shows the page to him. The other male was lucky.

Takanori observed the page and the boy for a moment before nodding and resting his chin on his knees. "It would be nice if things worked out that way, wouldn't it..." he looked at the water in front of him. His mother had disappeared when he was still only a child, but still had her for a short time, and that was more than some people he knew. And he assumed that was the case with the blonde here. "So...what should I call you?" He asks, thinking they should change the subject before they became more depressed than they already were. That's the last thing he needed in a strange place.

The blonde gives a slight nod instead of writing an answer. He doesn't need to end up crying in front of this human. That wouldn't be a good thing, not at all. He sighs silently, writing out something. -My name is Minki, but I prefer Ren....what should I call you?-

"Ren...it sounds nice," he smiles faintly. "Um, my name is Takanori, but you can call me whatever you want. I've also gone by runt, midget, and a few curse words," he explains, looking back out over the water. "I use the false name 'Ruki' too, for my art mostly," he sets his thin down on his knees again, hugging them. He really didn't care what he was called, since each person he knew called him something different.

Minki seems rather thoughtful for a little bit, then writes something. -What would you prefer that I use?- He nudges Ruki's shoulder lightly, showing him the page silently. He wanted to use a name that the other male would like, and prefer.

Taka looks over and blinks at the paper. He never was really given the option before. "Um, I guess either Takanori or Ruki. Either of those I'm okay with," he hugs onto his knees, still shivering slightly.

-I'll call you Takanori, if that's alright.- he writes, tilting his head slightly. -Are you still cold?- The river was cold, but not too cold. Maybe it was the weather? Ren wasn't exactly sure, since his body temperature was higher than that of most humans.

The human rubs his arms a little, nodding. Between the cold water, air, and his being the size of a twig, he was actually freezing. Takanori wouldn't be surprised if he ended up with a cold even. "Um...I'm not keeping you from anything, am I?" He asks quietly. One thing he hated was being in the way. One thing his father always reminded him was that he always was, and was a complete burden to everyone. That was the last thing he wanted to be in a strange place.
