Too Little Time || Open

JiHoon draped himself in a tree near the river, sighing quietly. He rubbed at his eyes, trying to get the sleepy feeling out. He hadn't slept in nearly two days, and it was starting to show. Badly. He was sure that if he stayed in his tree long enough, he would doze off there. But he would be completely okay with that, to be quite honest. He was exhausted, and quite irritated. The paperwork and politics of running a strip club was beginning to really get to him.

Jae had the day off, thankfully, so he decided to go wandering through the forest. He finally stopped when he reached the river, pulling off his shoes and socks to sit with his feet in the water. He sighed, pulling the elastic band out of his hair, letting it fall from its ponytail. He didn't notice that there was someone else there, though.

He didn't see that someone had walked to the river, let alone sat on the bank until he actually glanced down. From the angle he was at, it was impossible to tell if whoever they were was a man or a woman, but JiHoon didn't want to call any attention to himself. Doing that could cause problems. So he shifted just a little on the limb of the tree, so that he would still be comfortable, but also be able to watch the person below him.

He sighed, shutting his eyes and letting himself fall back into the grass. He would be chopped liver if someone found out he was here, but he didn't give a damn about it. He was tired of going to the hills, especially when the forest was his real home. He folded his hands behind his head, using them as a pillow, his intent to fall asleep right where he was.

Ruki wasn't quite sure how he ended up by the river, but there he was. He decided to go for a walk the previous night without telling Ren. He really just didn't want to wake him up. He had had pretty terrible experiences waking people in the past, and didn't want to risk it. But now, he almost wished he did. The boy had found himself following a white rabbit, of all things, into and through the forest. He had lost site of it some time ago, and was now just lost. Ruki had stumbled upon the river, and decided to follow it in hopes it might take him somewhere useful.
