Taka looks over and blinks at the paper. He never was really given the option before. "Um, I guess either Takanori or Ruki. Either of those I'm okay with," he hugs onto his knees, still shivering slightly.

-I'll call you Takanori, if that's alright.- he writes, tilting his head slightly. -Are you still cold?- The river was cold, but not too cold. Maybe it was the weather? Ren wasn't exactly sure, since his body temperature was higher than that of most humans.

The human rubs his arms a little, nodding. Between the cold water, air, and his being the size of a twig, he was actually freezing. Takanori wouldn't be surprised if he ended up with a cold even. "Um...I'm not keeping you from anything, am I?" He asks quietly. One thing he hated was being in the way. One thing his father always reminded him was that he always was, and was a complete burden to everyone. That was the last thing he wanted to be in a strange place.
