"Possessive?" Shinji had a light smirk. "Now why would your employee be possessive over his boss? Or are you a bit more than just that with the incubus?" the demon figured that maybe he was right. It wasn't like employee/employer relationships were unheard of. And Shinji found it amusing to say the least that Rain had decided to fall for an incubus, especially if the love wasn't returned.

"He's been possessive since the day I hired him, actually...I'm not sure what to say about what's between us. We tease the living daylights out of one another, but that's all that's really happened," he admitted, sighing. He wasn't going to say that he had actually fallen for the incubus.

That was interesting. Shinji couldn't help but raise his eyebrow in amusement. "I could be being pushy, but you seem disappointed that things haven't gone any further," the smirk hadn't left the demon's lips. It was nothing to him if Rain had fallen for the incubus, except for maybe amusing. But it wasn't his place to tell someone who to love or not, especially since he had dismissed for himself it long ago.

"...mm, that's something I'd prefer not to talk about, actually..." he said quietly, a frown on his lips. Yes, he wanted Saga for himself, but he really wasn't about to say so, especially to someone he had just begun to speak with.

"I understand," Shinji smiled, shrugging off the subject. He could tell he was at least close to being right, at that was enough. For now at least. He was interested in Rain, but he wouldn't force him to talk if he wasn't comfortable. The demon himself had his secrets, so it there was no reason he should make the other man talk about his more than he wanted to.

Rain simply nodded in response to Shinji's words. Suddenly, he wasn't in the best mood to talk anymore, and he didn't know why. Then again, that happened sometimes without proper reasoning. Even if it did seem like nothing had proper reasoning anymore, anyways.

"Well, I'm sure I've imposed on you enough," Shinji said, standing straight now and dusting himself off from leaning on the wall. He noticed the difference in Rain, even if it was slight, and figured that was his cue. "It was a pleasure meeting you, don't be afraid to come by here, or the ice cream parlor I've opened," he gave his best professional smile, though it wasn't as fake as usual, and a polite bow.

He let out a slight chuckle. "I think it is I who has imposed upon you, Shinji," he said softly, a bit of a nervous edge to his words. Rain wasn't fond of touching on delicate subjects, and it shook him sometimes. He returned the bow and smile after dusting himself off as well, nodding. "It was wonderful to meet you as well. You are always welcome at my business, as well, if you see a reason to stop by."

"Well, strip clubs aren't quite my type of place, but maybe I'll stop by," Shinji nodded at the offer. He really wasn't the type to go into a strip club, for multiple reasons. In fact, the demon couldn't think of a time in his whole life when he ventured into one.

"I didn't think they were...but the offer stands, if you'd ever like to take it up," he said, bowing slightly. "I should go, before someone trashes the place like they did last month when I was out. I enjoyed talking with you, Shinji." Rain offered a slight smile before excusing himself and turning to head back across the street.
